Adventure by sea

Our friends Allan and Doreen sold all they owned 2 ½ years ago and left South Florida to fulfill their dream of taking their 3 children on a sailing adventure. After many days and nights of sailing and visiting exotic ports they came back to America and we had the pleasure of spending an evening with them.

Echo the Ogre

Echo starred as one of the Ogres in the Standing Ovation Theatre presentation of Ella enchanted at the Broward County Main Library this week. It was a most enjoyable fun play to watch, who says kids have too much drama in their lives.

Warre Beehive

Over the weekend I built a Warre Beehive for some friends so I can get into the practice of building our own once we settle in on our homestead.  As you can see I still have to put the handles on the rest of the boxes. Not bad for the first round of hives.
