As our northern family and friends have spent the last several weeks transitioning into autumn we woke up to our own little transition, 54 degrees worth of transition. Now that may seem laughable to some but when you live in a block house with a concrete slab or a crawl space without insulated windows 54 degrees may seem a bit on the nippy side.
So, I woke up and cranked on the heat for an hour or so just to get the chill out of the house and Echo and I sat and had some oat meal together. It’s funny how some northern transplants will take advantage of any cool weather they can get and reminisce about cold weather gone by.
Now we all look forward to a day that reminds us why we live in South Florida; low 70’s, sunny clear skies with a light breeze. Prefect park weather.
