Two weeks ago, we had a
going away party with friends and family. Many people came by to bid us a fond
farewell and reminisce about old memories and new times to come.
It was very heartwarming to see
how much we are loved and will be missed - which makes it even harder to say goodbye

There's something unusual about the pictures of the kids in the yard: No cellphones, iPhones, iPads, tablets, laptops, Gameboys or any other new technology. They have old technology. A table and chairs. And a chess set. It's manually operated. It doesn't need batteries or to be plugged into a wall socket. We don't need to be saturated with technology 24/7. Other parents, and kids, should see these pictures and realise there's something to be said for keeping life -- or at least a decent chunk of it -- simpler.
I love the photo of me.
ReplyDeleteThe caption should be " No, girl let me show you how to sow." :D
Thanks for an extra special day.
