Let the clearing begin

We have approximately 3000 linear feet of creek bed on our homestead, some seasonal and some barring drought flow continuous. Through the years cedar trees have grow along the bed and in most places cover the creek completely.

We thought it would be nice to cut back the cedar trees to expose the beauty of the beds along with making it easier not only to get to the creek but also to hear the glorious sound of flowing crystal clear spring water.

Flowing hard and fast

The scuttlebutt back home is after 9 or so months of drought our creek is flowing and flowing hard and fast which means we don’t have to drive 14 miles round trip for water.

This will make things much easier.
