While I was at work today, our neighbor came by to speak with Judith. She is a grandmother and probably in her late 60’s who immigrated from Haiti. She lives next door with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. They are very nice people.
She apologized to Judith for not coming around during Christmas week. She proceeded to tell her that she feels uneasy and fearful about being outside, especially at night.
Let's examine this – a person who grew up in Haiti feels uneasy and fearful of being outside in HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA.
Houston, we have a problem.
