Those nasty little critters

Went to the ER with Echo yesterday afternoon because he seems to have acquired a “Bull’s eye” rash on his back due to the possible exposure to either Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever from a tick bite.

 

 

They did a blood draw, sent it to the lab and we should being getting the results back in a day or two. To air on the side of caution he is being treated with a round of antibiotics as if he did contract either of the bacterial infections.

I tell you, it’s worth a flight down here if you need to go to the ER. It’s was empty, clean, quick, and everyone was nice as pie.

I’m just saying … maybe for your next gunshot wound or alligator bite.
